F.C.’s Justin Lane Commissioned as Army Officer

2012JanJustinGraduationSecond Lieutenant Justin Lane, 23, of Falls Church, was commissioned as an active duty infantry officer in the United States Army on Jan. 14.

Lane earned his bachelor of arts degree in Government and International Politics from George Mason University that same day. Lane is the son of Cricket and Denise Goff. Lane is now headed to Ft. Benning, Georgia, where he will complete the Infantry Basic Officer Leadership Course followed by US Army Ranger School. Lane is scheduled to arrive in Ft. Bliss, Texas, later this year where he will serve as a platoon leader in the 1st Armored Division. (Photo: Denise Goff)
