Falls Church author Surekha Vijh will discuss her book “A Leap Into Water” Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. at One More Page Books.
The book is her first book of poetry published in America. Vijh’s poetry celebrates love, passion, equality and justice, exploring the themes of nature, war and peace, history and mythology.
A native of India, Vijh is a former writer in residence at Vermont Studio Center and is currently a print and broadcast journalist.
