Auction for Our Schools Brings in $1K

DuncanPhil and Leslie Duncan show off the treasures they bid on at the Falls Church Education Foundation’s Auction for Our Schools last Monday night – an antique sewing box, and an original Art Pierson photograph of a cottage. Sixty items that were donated by various community members were sold that evening by auctioneer David Quinn at Quinn’s Auction Galleries in Falls Church.

About 30 people attended the event, which raised $1,000 to benefit the programs and operations of the Falls Church Education Foundation (Photo: Courtesy Marybeth Connelly)
