The City’s water service rates will be increased as follows: *The current water rate – commodity charge ($3.03 per 1000 gallons), will increase 8%, effective August 1, 2011. *The current water rate – peak use charge ($4.62 per 1000 gallons) will increase 8%, effective August 1, 2011. *The service charges based on meter size will increase 8%, effective August 1, 2011.
