Hekemian Announces Groundbreaking Of ‘Northgate’ Project in F.C.

The Hekemian Company officially announced today the long-awaited groundbreaking of its ‘Northgate’ five-story mixed use residential and commercial development project on N. Washington St. (Rt. 29) in Falls Church.

A formal groundbreaking ceremony has been scheduled for July 14. The structure was approved by the Falls Church City Council three years ago, but was stalled apparently due to Recession pressures. It will be located at thecorner of E. Jefferson and N. Washington St., at the site of the long-abandoned Crossman Funeral Home.
