TJ, MEH Schools Hold Annual Business Day

In both fourth and seventh grade at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School and Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School, students are learning about economics and business through real-world examples.

Seventh grade students used Dippold Dollars to create businesses and sell their ideas like duct tape wallets, friendship bracelets, ice cream sundaes, cake pops and karaoke to classmates, younger students, teachers and visiting business professionals.

Fourth grade students earned TJ Bucks for classroom jobs all year. They also created businesses that included crafts, balloon animals, face painting and magnets.
