Joseph Mauro and Shannon Teare were united in marriage on May 21 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The bride is the daughter of Steve and Wendy Teare, of Suwanee, Georgia. The groom is a 2004 graduate of George Mason High School, and the son of Louis Mauro, of Falls Church, and Debra Cook-Christiansen, of El Cerrito, California. The couple met in the choir at Wake Forest University. The groom is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, and the bride currently works as a high school French teacher. They will move to Annapolis, Maryland, in the fall where the groom will clerk for the Court of Appeals of Maryland and the bride will pursue a master’s degree in French at the University of Maryland.
