Volunteer Fairfax is calling all families with elementary school-aged children to register to participate in Give Together: A Family Volunteer Day held in conjunction with Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service. Projects are most appropriate to children in this age group, but can be completed by younger children with adult supervision.

On this day, families from across the county will have the opportunity to come together and volunteer for multiple non-profit agencies at one central location. Service projects will benefit populations served by FACETS, Fairfax 4-H, Herndon Senior Center, the Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia, Operation Military Kids and the Orphan Foundation of America.

To register to participate, visit www.volunteerfairfax.org. For more information, contact Daneen Matheson at Volunteer Fairfax at 703-246-3826 or email dmatheson@volunteerfairfax.org.
