F.C. Council Planning ‘Retreat’ Set for Weekend of Sept. 24-26

The Falls Church City Council at its work session tonight determined to narrow the dates for its annual planning “retreat” to the weekend of Sept. 24-26, with more details to be hammered out. Among the topics for discussion that Council members said they wanted included in the deliberations were a discussion of the signing of a “Civility Code” by Council members, and a refresher on Roberts Rules of Order. Also, Mayor Nader Baroukh reminded Council members and the public that weekly meetings of the Council’s Economic Development subcommittee are open to all Council members and the public, held at 7:30 a.m. every Friday morning in the Administrative Conference Room at City Hall.
