Vice Mayor Lippman Concedes He’s Not Interested in Any Further Cuts

Falls Church Vice Mayor Hal Lippman said in the midst of a lengthy City Council consideration of draconian cuts in  the FY11 budget beyond what City Manager Wyatt Shields has already proposed that “while this exercise is useful to show how dramatic more program cuts would be, I am not interested in cutting the budget any more than Mr. Shields has already proposed.”
