Jody’s Jam of the Week: Dining Out for Life

Tomorrow, Thursday March 11, over 150 area restaurants will be donating 25% or more of their proceeds for the 14th annual Food and Friend’s Dining Out for Life. The D.C.-based non-profit, Food and Friends, specializes in home-delivered meals and clinical nutrition to individuals living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-challenging illnesses.

This year, three restaurants, Posto, Ristorante Tosca and Annie’s Paramount Steak House are donating 100% of their proceeds, and one, Freddie’s Beach Bar & Restaurant in Crystal City, is donating 110%! In Falls Church, Clare and Don’s and Open Kitchen are both donating 35%, while Argia’s, Bubba’s Bar-B-Q, Four Sisters and La Cote D’Or are all donating 25%. This is a great cause and all it takes from you is going out to eat. So get your belly filled with good food and a warm fuzzy feeling by hitting up Dining Out for Life next Thursday.
