CHRISTY WINTERS-SCOTT (right), the head coach of the South Lakes High girls basketball team, joined Tinner Hill Foundation organizer Nikki Henderson Friday at Falls Church Community Center for “Girls Got Game,” a discussion and slideshow presentation of early female basketball players and the fashions on the court. Winters-Scott is a women’s basketball Hall of Famer for the University of Maryland, and was an assistant coach for Maryland, George Mason and Georgetown Universities.
