Fairfax County Issues Precaution on Snow-Related Flooding; Metro Bus Begins Operating 47 Routes

The Fairfax County government today issued a precautionary warning to citizens about the dangers of snow-related flooding as accumulated snow begins to melt. Citizens are urged to clear areas around roof downspouts and drains and away from water drains where possible.

Metro has announced that bus service on 47 routes has resumed this afternoon with deviations in routes possible depending on snow conditions.

The National Weather Service has reported another storm will hit the D.C. area on Monday with early estimates of 3-4 inches of snow.
