Reader Tips, News & More on F.C.’s Battle with the Blizzard

Readers with tips and information of interest as Falls Church deals with the blizzard, such as restaurant openings, blocked roads, power outages, etc., are encouraged to comment here and pass along any and all info.

So far, we’ve heard:

• Clare and Don’s,, 130 North Washington Street, www.clareanddons.com will be opening at 4 p.m. per their Facebook page.

• Anthony’s Restaurant is open, however they are not sure for how much longer.

• Dogwood Tavern is closed.

• Panera Bread at 450 W. Broad St. was open, is now closed.

• No answer at Argia’s or Ireland’s 4 Provinces

Update:

• La Caraquena, at 300 West Broad Street, is open until 10 p.m. tonight. www.lacaraquena.com

• Giant Food at 1230 W Broad St is open.

• All City 7-Eleven’s are open,

• Applebee’s, 127 East Broad Street is open

• Brown’s Hardware, 100 West Broad Street is also currently open

• CVS Pharmacy, 132 West Broad Street, is open
