Falls Church City Council members closed in on final language of an ordinance that would establish a citizen volunteer Long Range Fiscal Planning group at tonight’s work session, with caveats from both City Manager Wyatt Shields and Council members that it would be counterproductive if the group functioned as a separate, adversarial body apart from the City government.
The matter will come to a vote of the Council at its next regular business meeting Monday night, Nov. 9.
