F.C. City Council Votes 6-0 To Submit Settlement Offer to Fairfax Water in Lawsuit Proceeding

Following a lengthy closed session Monday night, the F.C. City Council opened its public meeting and voted unanimously (Baroukh absent) to authorize City Attorney John Foster to forward a settlement offer to Fairfax Water to resolve the current litigation process in the Fairfax Circuit Court.

It was noted that the move was taken upon the advice of counsel. In the only comment associated with the vote, Councilman Snyder said he was voting yes ‘reluctantly.’ Foster told the News-Press there would be no public comment forthcoming at this time.
