While the rolling hills of Loudon County, Virginia might not immediately come to mind when you think of the world’s most luxurious vineyards, it doesn’t mean you can’t get a quality bottle of vino from a spot just down Route 7. This Sunday, thingstododc.com is hosting a Day Long Luxury Wine & Vineyard Tour to three of Loudon’s top hooch producers. Hillsborough Vineyards, Windham Vineyards and one of Virginia’s newest wineries, Veramar Vineyard are all part of the Loudon County lineup and are sure to wet your whistle. Transportation and a box lunch is included in this tour which leaves from the Roslyn Metro Station Sunday morning.
