14th Annual “Art for Life” Art Auction and Exhibit to Benefit the Whitman-Walker Clinic, Thursday, Nov. 15, 6:30 p.m. OAS Building, Washington D.C.

This annual event offers a dazzling array of original contributions by some of the most outstanding artists in the D.C. Metro area, any one of which could be yours! Because of the merits of the cause, the top creative talents in the region are out in force for this one. The Whitman-Walker Clinic has done heroic work in D.C. for well over two decades coping with the AIDS crisis, and this benefit was launched to bolster its work with the Latino community, in particular. With cuts in government support and the demise of the great “AIDS Rides” of the 1990s, Whitman-Walker is constantly struggling for the support it needs to address a crisis that isn’t really over by a long shot. The OAS building is at 17th and Constitution Ave., N.W. To buy tickets, go to www.wwc.org/artforlife
