Falls Church High Baseball (1-13): (April 23) loss vs. Washington-Lee, 16-6. (April 24) loss vs. Edison, 6-3. (April 27) loss vs. Mount Vernon, 11-6. (April 28) loss vs. Yorktown, 16-5. Next game is May 1 at Yorktown.

Small Roster Plays Negative for Colts

With a few players from George Mason High School (GMHS) out for a showcase, the Falls Church Colts were trimmed down to a roster of 10 and fell in both games of a doubleheader to the W.T. Woodson 18U baseball team last Saturday by a combined score of 29-8.

Marshall Girls Win 3 Straight, Move to 2nd in Liberty District

Three district wins have propelled the George C. Marshall High School girls varsity basketball team to second place in the Liberty District Standings. In the past three games, the Lady Statesmen (9-4, 4-1 in the Liberty District) have topped WT Woodson 52-41, clobbered Thomas Jefferson 61-15 and defeated Stone Bridge 65-56 on Tuesday night.
