In a seesaw contest Tuesday afternoon between the Varsity Girls Basketball teams of George Mason High School and Bishop Ireton, it was only fitting that the contest could not be decided in regulation.
In their last game before winter break, the George Mason High School varsity Girls Basketball team staved off a late rally by host Dominion High School, eking out a 51-41 victory in non-district action last Thursday night to secure their fourth straight victory this winter.

McLean Volleyball Falls to Stone Bridge On Friday, Oct. 17, the McLean High School girls volleyball team record slipped to 9-4 with a loss on Tuesday to perennial powerhouse Langley (9-25, 25-21, 23-25, 14-25) and a loss on Thursday to the Stone Bridge Bulldogs (18-25, 16-25, 25-18, 19-25).
