Falls Church Schools Names 2009 Support Staff Employee Falls Church City Public Schools (FCCPS) named band paraprofessional Larry Allen as the 2009 FCCPS Support Staff Employee of the Year for his 10 years of service at George Mason High, Mary Ellen Henderson Middle and Thomas Jefferson Elementary Schools.

Individual Efforts Mark Mustangs’ Track Opener

The George Mason High School varsity track team kicked off their Bull Run District season with an impressive showing in the pouring rain last week against powerhouse Manassas Park. While both teams lost to the Cougars, impressive finishes were turned out by numerous Mustang runners.

Regular Season Nearly a Wrap for Mason High XC

Going into this year's season, expectations were certainly high for the George Mason High School cross country team. A deep roster of young runners, coupled with the experience and leadership of upperclassmen led the charge, as the Mustangs sought to reach the tier of elite teams in the state. So far, they have not disappointed.

Mason High Ladies Lead Way At Rapp.

The George Mason High School girls varsity cross country team claimed victory at Rappahannock last week, topping teams from Rappahannock, Strasburg and Madison County. Meanwhile the boys team took second place, paced by a fourth place finish by Miles Butler.
