Meridian Girls Lacrosse Wins Regional Title, Baseball Advances As Well
It was another dominant performance for the Lady Mustangs lacrosse team on this breezy Wednesday night, this time hosting the Kettle Run Cougars with a regional championship on the line.

Both Mustangs Lacrosse Teams Dominate, Advance in Regional Playoffs
It was a beautiful Thursday evening in Falls Church as the Meridian High boys’ lacrosse team hosted Culpeper County for their postseason opener, and it would prove to be a beautiful result for the Mustangs. Rex Crespin opened the scoring only 36 seconds in and Gordon Davig added another about a minute later, and though the visitors would get one back to make it 2-1, they would quickly fall out of the game.









Mustangs Stay Hot as Regular Athletic Seasons Come to a Close
Another week brought another healthy serving of wins for the various Meridian High School Mustangs athletic programs, many of which concluded their regular season schedules.









New Week, Same Winning for Mustangs Athletics
he Meridian High School Mustangs were on a roll at the end of April with wins aplenty in just about all of their athletic programs, and the hot streak has continued into May. Bringing home the most success was the boys’ varsity baseball team, who went 3-0 on the week and now ride a seven game streak to move to 11-4 this season after a slow start.









Mustangs JV Lacrosse Dominates, Varsity Loses Tight One on Tuesday Night
Both Meridian boys’ lacrosse teams were in action against the visiting Brentsville Tigers on Tuesday night, and the weather would prove to be nothing short of ideal, with temperature in the high 60s and not a single drop of rain.









Full Slate of Games Brings Mostly Positive Results for Mustangs
The weather in Falls Church was beautiful all week, meaning that the Meridian High Mustangs were able to compete in their full schedule of various athletics events. Soccer, lacrosse, baseball, softball, and tennis all saw busy slates of action, and for the most part, the Mustangs were able to come away with victories.









Mustangs Lacrosse Takes Two on Thursday Night
It was a cold evening in Falls Church as both the Varsity and Junior Varsity Meridian girls’ lacrosse teams took on Bishop O’Connell, but it was worth the chills as both teams came away with dominant victories. The JV squad poured it on early and often, taking a 7-1 lead into the half and nearly doubling it for a final score of 13-2. Zoe Gale and Tessa Papadopoulos each scored four goals, while Clementine Kim added two and Cora Brown, Zoe Kuo, and Abby Crespin also all found the back of the net.
