Fairfax County Assessments Announced

Fairfax County announced its real estate assessments for the coming year were being mailed to property owners this week.

The assessments combine for a 3.03 percent increase for residential and a 5.19 percent increase for non-residential, for an overall assessment increase of 3.60 percent.

Single family detached properties increased 2.17 percent, townhouse/duplex properties are up 3.12 percent and condominium properties rose by 2.98 percent.
