Local attorney Mark F. Werblood of Tesler & Werblood is sponsoring Creative Cauldron’s new musical “The Mistress Cycle” premiering Thursday, Oct. 5. “The Mistress Cycle” tells the story of five women: Tess, a struggling 30-something Manhattan photographer; Anais Nin, the famed sexual adventuress of the early 20th century; Diane de Poitiers, the mistress of Henri II of France in the 16th century; Lulu White, a turn-of-the-last-century New Orleans Madame; and Ching, a 14-year-old concubine in 12th century China. Though they come from different times and cultures, they share a sisterhood. The show will be performed Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 and 7 p.m. Creative Cauldron is located at 410 S. Maple Avenue in Falls Church. For more information, visit www.creativecauldron.org. A sneak peek will be provided at a Falls Church Chamber of Commerce Mixer on Thursday, Sept. 28 from 5:30 – 7 p.m.
