Clay Rice Hosts Class on Heirloom Silhouettes

Renowned silhouette artist Clay Rice will guide a classs on Heirloom Silhouettes. Rice is a third generation, nationally recognized silhouette artist who picked up the trade from his grandfather and is also a children’s author who will be at the Doodlehopper 4 Kids (234 W Broad St., Falls Church) this Sunday, Oct. 1 from noon – 4 p.m. This activity is ideal for children with a creative knack who are looking for a different and unique way to express their artistic tendencies that could also serve as decoration around the house. Fees apply for silhouettes, sign-up prior to the event date.
