Mason Choral Students Audition for All-District Chorus

Students in George Mason High School’s choral program auditioned for the All-District Chorus on November 12 and nine of them were selected to represent Mason at the District X Choral Festival on February 16-18.

Lydia Gompper, Dexter Jackson, Miles Jackson, Cooper McGuire, Neil Menon, Ruthie Miller, Caroline Perez, Casandre Rice and Danielle Valderrama-Avila were selected to go to the District X Choral Festival.

In other Mason choral department news, the first annual Pumpkin Patch event brought in $4,500 to help defray the cost of new uniforms, according to the Falls Church City Public School systems Morning Announcements newsletter.
