CNN Films ‘United Shades of America’ at Eden Center

An independent contract crew and writer, comedian and television host W. Kamau Bell were spotted in Eden Center on Sunday, Nov. 21, where they were filming for an upcoming episode on the new season of “United Shades of America.”

The show, which is hosted by Bell, is a documentary series that began airing in April 2016 and is about the everyday lives of Americans from all backgrounds. The show was nominated for an Emmy Awards at the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards in the Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program category.

Eden Center is the largest area of Vietnamese commerce on the East Coast and one of the largest in the world. The new season of the show will begin airing new episodes in spring 2017. For more information, visit cnn.com/shows/united-shades-of-america.
