F.C. Resident Wins $100,000 from Virginia Lottery

Falls Church resident Elieceer Chacon won $100,000 playing Virginia Lottery’s Cash 5 game on Thursday, Nov.3, according to a press release from the Virginia Lottery. He told the Virginia Lottery that his strategy for playing the game is to select numbers that seem to be coming up lately.

“I guess I hit the big one,” Chacon said to the Virginia Lottery. He bought his winning ticket at the 7-Days Convenience Store, located at 3518 Moncure Ave., Falls Church. The winning numbers for that drawing were 16-25-29-30-34.

The chances of winning the $100,000 top prize are 1 in 278,256. For more information, visit valottery.com.
