James Lee Community Center Director Set to Leave

Zurii Conroy, the director of James Lee Community Center, has been promoted to a new position with Fairfax County after serving as the director for the local community center for five years. She has been promoted to Operation Manager for Region 4, which is located in the west and southwestern part of Fairfax County, which includes the communities of Fairfax, Burke, Centreville, Chantilly, Fairfax City, Fairfax Station, Town of Clifton and West Springfield.

“Although I am excited to grow into my new role, it will be with sadness as I am leaving behind the James Lee, Falls Church and Annandale family of which I’ve been a member since 2011,” Conroy said in an email.

“Working at James Lee has forever changed me and I will always carry with me  the lessons, memories, and relationships that have developed and I look forward to the potential of working with you in the future.” Conroy’s last day at James Lee will be Tuesday, Nov. 15.
