The latest intervention against the campaign of Hillary Clinton for President has borne a particularly troubling and sickening tone. After all the evidence of direct Russian meddling against the campaign, as acknowledged by 17 different U.S. intelligence agencies, the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation has weighed in with its own stunning moves to harm the Clinton candidacy.

While downplaying any Russian-Trump connection, FBI chief James Comey announced a redoubled investigation of Clinton emails without a shred of evidence that he’d found any wrongdoing, whatsoever. Trump wasted no time taking advantage of this gift.

What seemingly strange bedfellows, the Russians and their extensive Russian Mafia operations in the U.S. linked directly to Trump, and the FBI! Could it be that the horny hand of the Russian Mob extends further than we think?

Notwithstanding the noisy denials by the FBI and Comey that their work of the past week has nothing to do with partisan politics, its impact reveals otherwise and these incidents will no doubt go down in history, as they should, as among the most egregious violations of FBI standards ever.

Comey, whose name will forever be Mudd as a result of this, must come clean with the truth and not hide behind the rancid veil of official denials and secrecy that he’s resorting to.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time the FBI’s behavior has had to be called into serious question, and earlier cases can perhaps throw some light onto the present situation. The earlier sordid tales involve its long-time late director J. Edgar Hoover.

Hoover’s cavorting with organized crime figures is well documented, and in fact, there is an abundance of evidence to indicate he was seriously compromised by the Mob through its standard blackmail operations, exploiting his hidden homosexuality, as the Mob so often did to blackmail wealthy and public figures.

In his comprehensive, scholarly and fully-documented book on the sparking of the gay liberation movement in 1969, Stonewall: The Riots that Sparked the Gay Revolution (2004), David Carter wrote a lot about the Mafia’s control and manipulation of urban gay culture that included drugs, porn, child prostitution, loan sharking and, most lucratively, blackmailing of rich and important people.

Carter cited the 1993 book, Official and Confidential: the Secret Life of J. Edgar Hoover by Anthony Summers, which noted that “the Mafia had photographic evidence implicating Hoover in homosexual activity,” and that “It also came to light that Hoover at times dressed in female attire.” John Paul Ranieri, a former prostitute interviewed by Carter said that “as a youth from Westchester County he had been forced by blackmail and Mafia-supplied drugs into a prostitution ring in which he remained active for three years before he escaped the Mob’s control…While most of the customers were more or less average homosexual men with money, the regular clientele, according to Ranieri, also included famous men such as Malcolm Forbes, Cardinal Spellman, Liberace, U.S. senators, a vice president of the United States, one of the most famous rock musicians and J. Edgar Hoover.”

The Russian Mafia has now taken over for the old Mob as an arm of Russian influence in the U.S., continuing the same Mafia-like operations. Its links to Trump are direct as documented in Robert I. Friedman’s book, Red Mafiya: How the Russian Mob Has Invaded America (2002).

Any number of top-level U.S. law enforcement figures could have been caught in similar webs of deceit as Hoover by the Russian Mafia. Sometimes it is incongruous public policy behavior, such as Hoover’s repeated denials that the Mafia even existed in the 1940s and 1950s, that can best tip this off.

In Tuesday’s Daily Beast article, “The Party Girl Who Brought Trump to His Knees,” by Christopher Dickey and Michael Daly, Trump’s control by the Mob in the 1980s is documented, including an interview with the son of a known Mafia-linked figure John Cody of the Teamsters.

Cody’s son Michael recalled, according to the Daily Beast story, “Trump was a guy who would talk tough, but as soon as you confronted him, he would cry like a little girl. He was all talk, no action. My father walked all over him.”
