At a press conference of the normally non-partisan Economic Equality Coalition in Arlington Friday morning, six-term Falls Church Councilman David Snyder, a Republican, endorsed Democrat Hillary Clinton for president of the U.S. He was among regional lawmakers of both parties and independents who did likewise along with the coalition at the event.

Snyder quoted Republican presidents Lincoln and Eisenhower and former GOP Secretary of State Colin Powell in his statement.
