Crime Report: 4 More Car Break-Ins in Falls Church

Another string of car break-ins occurred in the City of Falls Church when four vehicles in the were entered and had items stolen according to the latest crime report. Two vehicles on Berry St. were broken in to, one on E. Broad St. and another on Wrens Way.

In more crime, a 48-year old man was arrested for public drunkenness, a phone was stolen from Lesly’s Restaurant and a 40-year old Reston man was nabbed for a DUI.

City of Falls Church Crime Report: October 17 – 23, 2016

Public Drunkenness, 420 S. Washington St. (City Laundry Mat) On Oct. 17, a male, 48, of Falls Church, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Larceny from Vehicle, 600 block E. Broad St. On Oct. 18, small change was stolen from the victim’s unlocked vehicle.

Larceny from Vehicle, 700 block Berry St. On Oct. 18, small change was stolen from the victim’s unlocked vehicle.

Larceny from Vehicle, 300 block Wrens Way On Oct. 18, small change was stolen from the victim’s unlocked vehicle.

Tampering with Vehicle, 700 block Berry St. On Oct. 18, the victim’s vehicle was found in disarray. No items were reported taken.

Larceny, 306 Hillwood Ave. On Oct. 18, a phone was reported stolen at the restaurant.

Driving Under the Influence, 1200 block W. Broad St. On Oct. 23, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 40, of Reston, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
