Fairfax Co. Fire & Rescue Stations Open Houses on Oct. 15

In celebration of Fire Prevention Week, which started on Sunday, Oct. 9 and lasts through Saturday, Oct. 15, all of the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Stations will host an Open House on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The theme of this year’s Fire Prevention Week is “Don’t Wait Check the Date! Replace Smoke Alarms Every 10 Years.” Area residents can stop by their neighborhood fire station on October 15 to meet firefighters, see the fire trucks, take part in various activities and learn about fire safety.
