New Falls Church City Public Schools Bus Routes Start

Updated bus schedules and routes took effect last week for the Falls Church City Public Schools system. The updates in the system reflect adjustments made to account for the many new and changed addresses of students this year.

The biggest change comes to afternoon routes for George Mason High School and Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School. Starting last Tuesday, Sept. 20, all Henderson and Mason buses depart at 3:12 p.m., students from both schools may ride the same bus and there is a new afternoon traffic pattern for parents picking up Henderson students.

During afternoon pickup, which lasts from 2:45 – 3:20 p.m., Henderson pickup can be accessed through the Mason entrance on Haycock Road, directly across from Giant and the Mason main entrance on Leesburg Pike. For more information, visit fccps.org/bus.
