F.C. School System Organizes Gratitude Campaign

Falls Church City Public Schools community is currently running a campaign called #180Gratitude to recognize different employees and volunteer who work within the school system. The campaign was conceived by the leaders of several organizations affiliated with the school system – Falls Church Education Foundation, Falls Church Elementary Parent Teacher Association, Mary Ellen Henderson Parent Teacher Association, George Mason High School Parent Teacher Student Association, Mason Athletic Boosters and Falls Church Band Boosters.

Employees who have been recognized since the school year started include Beth Green, a K-2 enrichment coordinator for Falls Church City Public Schools, Vicki Galliher, a physical education, health and family life education teacher at George Mason High School and trainer for the school’s sports teams, and Lisa High, who works in the school system’s Central Office as the assistant superintendent.
