F.C. Recycling Extravaganza Rescheduled to Oct. 15

The City of Falls Church is rescheduling its Recycling Extravaganza to Saturday, Oct. 15. The event, which allows area residents to recycle several different types of unwanted items, was originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 10.

At the October 15 event, which will be held at the City’s Recycling Center at 217 Gordon Road, residents can recycle items like electronics, computers, eye glasses, medical equipment, sewing machines, bikes, clothing, textiles, batteries and more. Paper shredding will be provided by Safeguard Shredding.

There are specifications some of the types of unwanted items, which can be found on the City’s website for the event. The event will be held from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. and is free for City residents. For more information, visit fallschurchva.gov/RE.
