Christ Crossman Hosts F.C. Feeds the World Event

A Feeds the World event promoting community unity through a service at Christ Crossman United Methodist Church to honor the memory of those affected by the events of 9/11 will be held on Sunday, Sept. 11 from 1 – 5 p.m. Volunteers are needed to assemble 30,000 healthy meals that will be packed and shipped to developing countries around the world.

Christ Crossman, located at 384 N. Washington St., Falls Church, is partnering with Stop Hunger Now, a nonprofit organization that distributes meals through feeding programs to promote education, improve student’s health and nutrition and stimulate economic growth.

This event provides meals at no cost and is open to the public. Adults and children aged four and up are allowed to volunteer for this event. For more information, visit fallschurchfeedstheworld.org or email info@fallschurchfeedstheworld.org.
