Requin Celebrates Shark Week With Red & ‘Bloody’ Dishes
It’s the time of the year when people clear off the DVR and set it to record the Discovery Channel for seven straight days. That’s right, everybody, it’s Shark Week.
Jumping on the annual feeding frenzy, Mosaic District’s Requin (that’s French for “shark,” FYI) is celebrating with a week full of Shark Week specials including a special “Shark Bite” of food and drinks throughout the day.
Per the restaurant’s press release, the limited-time, “shark attack-inspired menu” includes red and “bloody” dishes like tuna tartare, grilled octopus, a salad featuring blood orange, blood sausage and a strawberry sorbet. And just in case your DVR is hurting for space, Requin will be screening Shark Week programming at the bar all week long, as well.
Requin’s Shark Week celebration runs through Sunday, July 3.
