Dogwood Tavern is welcoming in the summer this weekend with a party, but not just any party – it’s going to be a sausage fest.

The Falls Church sports pub’s outdoor celebration kicks off at 4 p.m. Saturday on the patio with a variety of meat from the butchers at D.C.’s Stachowski’s Market. It wouldn’t be a proper sausage party without some booze, so there will be plenty of Virginia beer and bourbon to wash it all down.

There’s no entry fee for the sausage fest and there will also be live music on Dogwood’s “sky bar” starting a 5 p.m.
