UPDATE: Suspect Arrested in Capital One Bank Robbery Identified as ‘Forever Loyal Bandit’

UPDATE: The man who was arrested at around 3 p.m. on Friday, June 10 for allegedly robbing the Capital One Bank on West Broad Street in Falls Church has been identified by local authorities as the “Forever Loyal Bandit,” who was wanted for a string of robberies that occurred between June and August 2014. The 42-year-old Amin Huie, of Arlington, was transported to the Arlington County Adult Detention Facility and charged with robbery. On Monday, June 13, the Fairfax County Police Department obtained four additional robbery warrants that will be served on Huie upon his release from the Arlington County Detention Facility.

A man is in custody after a bank robbery in the City of Falls Church on Friday, police report. City of F.C. Police say the suspect entered the Capital One Bank on West Broad Street in Falls Church before 3 p.m. today, implied he had a weapon and demanded money before fleeing on foot. Nobody was hurt during the incident.

After responding to the scene, police began canvassing the neighborhood and an officer found an individual matching the description of the robber and then placed him under arrest. The suspect is described as a black male with a mustache, about 6’3″, wearing a black cap, black long sleeved shirt under a blue short sleeved shirt, and jeans. Police are not releasing his name or photo at this time.
