F.C. Government Closures Planned Over Next Week

Two closures of government offices in the City of Falls Church are scheduled over the next week, the first of which is slated for Friday, June 17. Most City government offices and services will close at noon that day for the City of Falls Church’s annual employee picnic.

Closures include the Mary Riley Styles Public Library and most offices in City Hall – Permits Counter, Sheriff’s Office, Commissioner of the Revenue and Treasurer. The Court Clerk and the Community Center will be open during normal business hours.

On Tuesday, June 21 the City of Falls Church’s Treasurer’s office will close early to attend an offsite event. Payments may be left in the Treasurer’s office drop box in the City Hall Police Department, which is on level G2 of the City Hall building at 300 Park Avenue.

Those payments will be picked up at 8 a.m. and will be considered paid the preceding business day. For more information about both closures, visit fallschurchva.gov.
