F.C. Artist Wins Second Place in Bethesda Painting Awards

Richard Levine of Falls Church won second place in the Bethesda Painting Awards from the Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District on Wednesday, June 1 at the exhibition’s at Gallery B. Levine won $2,000 along with the recognition.

A public opening for the show will be held on Friday, June 10 from 6 – 9 p.m. in conjunction with the Bethesda Art Walk. Gallery B is located at 7700 Wisconsin Ave. suite E in Bethesda. The work of the eight finalists in the awards contest, including Levine’s will be on display through June 27.

Gallery B’s hours are Wednesday – Saturday from noon – 6 p.m. For more information, visit bethesda.org.
