ON THURSDAY, MAY 26, News-Press founder, owner and editor Nicholas F. Benton posted this photo on his Facebook page with the following comment: “My sweet precious ‘White as the Driven Snow Princess Kitty Mimi’ got her wings this morning. She was 20 1/2 and I was so lucky to have her around bossing but mostly loving me for her last 15 1/2 years.” He expressed deep thanks and appreciation for the many people who replied by offering their good thoughts and condolences.
