Swanson Named TJ Elementary Principal

Paul Swanson, an elementary principal in Indiana, has accepted the position as the new principal at Falls Church’s Thomas Jefferson Elementary School, replacing the departing Robert Palermo, who has been in the post since the summer of 2010. Swanson comes with 23 years of experience, the last seven as principal of West Elementary School in Mount Vernon, Indiana.

According to a Falls Church School Board press release, Swanson will attend a community “meet and greet” with the public hosted by the Thomas Jefferson Principal Search Committee once his schedule for transitioning to Falls Church has been determined.
