New Location Planned for Bike to Work Day Pit Stop

The City of Falls Church announced a new location for the City’s pit stop location for this year’s Bike to Work Day, which is being held on Friday, May 20. From 6:30 a.m. – 9 a.m. on May 20, riders can enjoy free food, beverages, giveaways, demonstrations and raffles on the Washington & Old Dominion Trail at Little Falls Street.

This year’s pit stop is sponsored by Bikenetic, Dancing Mind Yoga and 24 Hour Fitness. Registration is now open at fallschurchva.gov/BTWD and the first 15,000 bicyclists who register and attend the pit stop they select at registration will receive a free Bike to Work Day t-shirt.

Businesses interested in sponsoring the City of Falls Church Pit Stop through donations of in-kind goods or monetary support should contact Jeff Sikes at jsikes@fallschurchva.gov or 703-248-5296 (TTY 711).
