Body Found in F.C.’s Tripps Run Creek Identified

The Fairfax County Police Department announced today in a press release that the deceased man found in Tripps Run Creek on Sunday, May 1 was identified as Edward Stephen Hamilton, 30, of Springfield. Hamilton’s next of kin has been notified, according to police.

The cause and manner of death are still pending and will be determined by the Office of the Medical Examiner once laboratory results have been completed, but detectives do not suspect foul play.
