Local artists Donna Byrne and Eileen Hecht-Levy are the featured artists this month at Art and Frame of Falls Church at 205 W. Jefferson Street and have an opening reception at the store on Friday, May 6 from 6 – 8 p.m. An artists talk for the show, called Whose Woods These Are: Abstract Interpretations, starts at 7:10 p.m.

The show, a collection of paintings by Byrne and Hecht-Levy, is inspired by the Robert Frost poem, “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.” The painters embarked on a journey to capture nuances of the forest environment through their colorful and whimsical paintings.
