Crime Report: Smokey’s Garage, Economy Party Supplies Store Burgled Last Week

There were more thefts last week in the City of Falls Church last week according to the latest crime report. A cell phone was stolen from a customer at Giant, there were two commercial burglaries — one at Smokey’s Garage and the other at Economy Party Supplies — and there was yet another car break-in, this time on Rees Place.

Also notable, a 54-year old was arrested for indecent exposure on West Broad St.

 

City of Falls Church Crime Report: March 28 – April 3, 2016

Larceny from Building, 1230 W. Broad St. (Giant Foods) On Mar. 28, a customer’s cell phone was reported stolen.

Smoking Violation, 6757 Wilson Blvd. On Mar. 23, Douglas A. Dane, 58, of Annandale, was cited for Smoking in a Non-Designated Area.

Larceny from Vehicle, 100 block Rees Pl. On Mar. 29, police received a report that small personal items were stolen from a vehicle sometime between Mar. 24 and Mar. 26.

Tamper with Auto, 200 block Noland St. On Mar. 29, a vehicle was found in disarray. No items were taken.

Smoking Violation, 6795 Wilson Blvd. (Café Metro) On Mar. 30, a male, 32, of Falls Church, was cited for Smoking in a Non-Designated Area.

Indecent Exposure, 105 W. Broad St. On Apr. 1, a male, Jr., 54, no fixed address, was arrested and released on summons for Indecent Exposure.

Commercial Burglary, 1105 W. Broad St. (Smokey’s Garage) On Apr. 2, unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the building and stole merchandise.

Commercial Burglary, 1049 W. Broad St. (Economy Party Supplies) On Apr. 3, unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the building and stole cash sometime overnight.
