Passport to the World Kicks Off on April 2 with OCEAN

Creative Cauldron recently announced the lineup for its 6th Annual Passport to the World Concert Series, which starts on Saturday, April 2 at 7:30 with a performance from OCEAN Celtic Quartet.

The series will run from April 2 – April 23 at ArtSpace Falls Church at 410 S. Maple Street, is presented in collaboration with the Folklore Society of Greater Washington and is curated by Lynn Véronneau and Ken Avis of the acclaimed Jazz fusion group Veronneau. Passport to the World will highlight music and dance performances from a broad spectrum of genres and styles, including Jazz, swing, Latin, classical, opera, klezmer and folk music.

Passport to the World is a festival rooted in worldly traditions,” Véronneau said. “Yet it’s decidedly modern. It’s thrilling and electrifying.” Tickets for the performances, except for Urban Arias on Friday, April 22, range between $18 –$24 and can be purchased online at creativecauldron.org or by calling 703-436-9948. Tickets for the Urban Arias show range between $22 – $24. For a full list of performances, visit creativecauldron.org/passport-to-the-world.html.
