The Fairfax County Police Department have identified the homicide victim found in a Falls Church apartment as 35-year-old Babtunde Fadahunsi, who was found with a gunshot wound shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23. Fadahunsi’s next of kin have been officially notified.
Police responded to a report of an unresponsive person at an apartment at 5597 Seminary Road, Falls Church and based on their initial investigation determined that Fadahunsi had sustained an apparent gunshot wound and was deceased.
Detectives investigating the homicide have reason to believe that this was not a random event. There are no suspects but detective are continuing their investigation.
